The TAFF Roadmap provides a shared global direction, but implementation will take different forms across countries.
This moderated panel will explore what a 1.5°C-aligned transition requires and how different energy, economic and political realities shape national pathways. The event will address key TAFF implementation bottlenecks and levers: finance and fiscal diversification, electrification, green industrialisation, national roadmaps and international cooperation, identifying practical pathways to turn global commitments into action towards GST2.
It will examine finance and fiscal barriers, electrification, green industrialisation and international cooperation as enablers of implementation. Connecting the Roadmap emerging from Belém with COP31 in Antalya and GST2, perspectives from Brazil, Türkiye and international climate organisations (Climate Analytics, IISD, E3G, IPC, ECCO and E+ Energy Transition Institute) will explore how successive COP Presidencies and partnerships can sustain political momentum and turn global commitments into action across different national realities.
