The topic we would like to bring revolves around financing a People-centred Energy Transition by mobilising public and private capital for inclusive economic transformation in ASEAN.
This panel aims as a starting point for the establishment of a Just Energy Transition Fund in Indonesia / Southeast Asia is especially by way of:
A. Strengthening micro, small, and medium enterprises as the objectives of this fund are to: (i) drive economic diversification and transformation by strengthening local economic activities such as agriculture and fisheries and (ii) have rural and local communities as the target beneficiaries.
B. Addressing regional environmental challenges and promote sustainable development, with emphasis on poverty reduction and rural development.
