The panel will discuss strategies to finance innovation and enable the effective implementation of energy transitions, focusing on removing barriers to technological adoption and aligning regulatory instruments with social and environmental impact metrics. The approach will cover advances in bioenergy, solar and wind power, resilient materials and infrastructure, energy storage, and green hydrogen, all integrated with digital innovations for system operation and planning, demand management, including increased end-use efficiency, and market mechanisms.
Participants will bring an integrated perspective involving productive sectors, academia, and civil society, prioritizing scalable, cost-effective solutions with high potential for rapid dissemination. The discussions will be compiled into a publication released through FAPESP’s communication channels, structured around the guiding questions listed below.
