The African Climate Foundation, established in 2020, is the first African-led strategic re-granter working at the nexus of climate change and development. It believes that change cannot be brought about by one party acting alone, and so, it actively pursues, supports, and fosters collaboration.

Energy Foundation China addresses climate change by accelerating the sustainable energy transition. It is an independent grantmaking charitable organization that provides funding for research and capacity building related to climate change and China.

European Climate Foundation (ECF) was established in 2008 as a philanthropic initiative to accelerate Europe’s transition to a net-zero, climate-resilient society. Works as a grant-maker and convener, supporting partners from civil society organisations to think tanks and grassroots movements.

Climate Initiative of Mexico (ICM) uses science and knowledge to tackle the climate emergency with a focus on social justice and equity. Through collaborations with political actors, civil society, academia, and the private sector, it proposes policies, programmes and projects to strengthen resilience to the climate change.

The Institute for Climate and Society (iCS) is a philanthropic organization that supports the fight against climate change. It focuses on Brazil through the use of a wide range of approaches and tools that range from institutional and financial support to non-profit organizations. In 2025, it celebrates its 10th anniversary.

Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation was incorporated on 5 October 2009 in Delhi as a non-profit corporate entity. It was founded to accelerate India’s transition to a sustainable energy future — a vision rooted in promoting clean power, energy efficiency, sustainable urban mobility, and climate-aligned policies.

Tara Climate Foundation is a philanthropic organisation based in Asia, focused on accelerating progress on the climate challenges. It provides grants, convenes regional stakeholders and shares on-the-ground knowledge. Works alongside civil society, donors, corporates and governments to advance a just energy transition.

ViriyaENB was established in 2022, and seeks to address the challenges of accelerating a system-wide energy transformation in response to the government’s commitment to transitioning the power sector away from fossil fuels. Wants to achieve a net-zero society underpinned by an equitable and regenerative economy in Indonesia.
