COP31 arrives in Turkey at a moment when the world is asking not for more ambition, but for delivery. Framed by the Turkish Presidency as the “COP of the Future,” and led jointly with Australia as President of Negotiations — an unprecedented shared-leadership model for climate diplomacy — this year’s conference is built around one question: how do we turn commitments into implementation, on the ground, region by region?

The Regional Climate Foundations (RCFs) Pavilion sits at the heart of that answer. Now in its fourth consecutive year since debuting at COP28 in Dubai, the pavilion has become a trusted platform bridging regions and communities; connecting international finance with the local organizations and grassroots groups working at the frontlines of the climate crisis.

Representing Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America, the RCFs bring together diverse regional perspectives, deep implementation experience, and institutional expertise. Together, they strengthen coherence, credibility, and impact across regions, fostering the alignment needed to accelerate delivery of global climate goals.

A Pavilion Designed for Action
At COP31, the RCF Pavilion becomes more than a meeting space — it is a neutral, shared arena where regions and stakeholders can deliberate, debate, and align on the practical steps needed to advance implementation. It highlights:

• The critical role each Regional Climate Foundation plays in its own geography
• Cross-regional collaboration and shared learning
• The RCFs’ value as a unified voice representing diverse global perspectives

In a complex geopolitical moment, the pavilion embodies urgency — demonstrating how finance, technology, and partnerships can be mobilized inclusively and effectively across regions, reinforcing trust and accountability, and translating alliances into implementable projects on the ground.

Submissions are now open for events, sessions, and dialogues that align with the pavilion’s six strategic focus areas:

• Financing Implementation — Unlocking capital for scalable, equitable climate action.
• Resilience, Adaptation & Equitable Development — Strengthening communities and systems under increasing climate stress.
• Cities, Regions & Multi-Level Engagement — Empowering local leadership and integrated, multi-level governance.
• Nature, Land Use & Integrated Solutions — Advancing biodiversity protection and sustainable land management.
• Supporting Green and Low-Carbon Industrialisation — Supporting industries in their transition to climate-aligned, low-carbon growth.

Bring Your Creativity
We want the pavilion to showcase the full range of ways people convene, learn, and connect. Applicants are encouraged to think beyond the traditional panel —workshops, TEDx-style talks, cultural performances, and other formats for multi-stakeholder dialogue are all welcome. Organizations interested in hosting a TEDx-style event will receive dedicated guidance from the curatorship team.

Organizations, foundations, governments, research institutions, and community leaders are invited to submit proposals for sessions that:
