The Regional Climate Foundations Pavilion is pleased to announce the selected events that will take place in our venue, located inside the Blue Zone at COP31 in Antalya, Türkiye. We received more than 190 event applications, and the choice of the approved applications was guided by a collaborative curatorship process involving RCF members worldwide.
The full list of approved events is currently under development. Please stay tuned, as updates regarding approved events will be published at this link in the coming days. The program with dates and session times will be announced in mid-October.
What is the Regional Climate Foundations Pavilion
The Regional Climate Foundations (RCFs) Pavilion debuted at COP28, in Dubai, becoming a place where regions and communities can connect with local organizations and grassroots groups working at the frontlines of the climate crisis.
Representing Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America, the RCFs bring together diverse regional perspectives, deep implementation experience, and institutional expertise. Together, they strengthen coherence, credibility, and impact across regions, fostering the alignment needed to accelerate delivery of global climate goals.
At COP31, the RCF Pavilion becomes more than a meeting space — it is a neutral, shared arena where regions and stakeholders can deliberate, debate, and align on the practical steps needed to advance implementation. It highlights:
In a complex geopolitical moment, the pavilion embodies urgency — demonstrating how finance, technology, and partnerships can be mobilized inclusively and effectively across regions, reinforcing trust and accountability, and translating alliances into implementable projects on the ground.
The events at the RCFS pavilion will be connected with six strategic focus áreas defined by the curatorship team:
- Implementing and Accelerating the Transition Away From Fossil Fuels — Accelerating pathways toward clean energy systems and away from fossil fuel dependence.
- Financing Implementation — Unlocking capital for scalable, equitable climate action.
- Resilience, Adaptation & Equitable Development — Strengthening communities and systems under increasing climate stress.
- Cities, Regions & Multi-Level Engagement — Empowering local leadership and integrated, multi-level governance.
- Nature, Land Use & Integrated Solutions — Advancing biodiversity protection and sustainable land management.
- Supporting Green and Low-Carbon Industrialisation — Supporting industries in their transition to climate-aligned, low-carbon growth.
